Time to Unite Against Breast Cancer
New research revealing the impact the coronavirus pandemic has had on women’s breast health across the UK has been released and the results are scary.
The research shows:
- One in five women have deprioritised their breast health
- Nearly half are less likely to share their breast health concerns as a result of the coronavirus pandemic
- Two-thirds of women are feeling more isolated and less connected
To bring awareness to the recent news our friends at Estée Lauder UK & Ireland are putting on the event that aims to connect, unite and empower people of all ages in the united efforts to end breast cancer.
The event will host an array of inspirational speakers including Lauren Mahon, Leanne Pero, Kris Hallenga, Sebina Hussain and Helen Addis who will be speaking honestly and openly about their stories and experiences. The event hopes to be the largest ever live self-check (cameras off!).
Please don’t miss it. It is for a good cause and chances are, you may want to give yourself a quick self-check anyways.
The event is tonight, Wednesday, Oct 21st at 7 pm. Click here to join!
