Headstrong counselling has joined forces with Re:Centre in Hammersmith to offer low-cost counselling to those dealing with anxiety and depression.

The partnership comes as a result of Headstrong’s understanding that there is a vast gap in the community when it comes to accessible, high-quality and low-cost counselling due to the mental health services in the community having lost government or NHS funding.

Headstrong is able to offer short and long term counselling that attends to the needs of each individual client as there are currently 7 different types of therapy available. Clients will have an initial assessment and within 1.2 days will be allocated a counsellor with whom they will be able to book follow-up sessions.

This important service is now available at Re:Centre’s Hammersmith branch Monday – Thursday 6-9pm from just £15 for a 50-minute session provided by a trainee counsellor.
