YOGA SUPPER-CLUB WITH VEGAN PUNJABI CUISINE

This event is a collaboration between YSM8, a supper club series founded by creative Poonam Dhuffer, bringing fresh flavours straight from the Punjabi kitchen to South – East London tables and LMJP YOGA, founded by yoga and meditation teacher Lara Piras, whose yogic approach is all about community; bringing together people of all ages, backgrounds, shapes and abilities in a safe environment, to share the incredible, calming and nourishing benefits of this ancient practice.
6 pm – Arrival and welcome
6:30 pm-7:30 pm – Yoga Flow set to a backdrop of authentic, calming yet uplifting Indian music. The class will be focused on ‘sahaja’ or guided free movement, which will allow the mind-body-soul to feel open, relaxed and ready for some deliciously nourishing food and drink. Complete beginners are more than welcome.
7:45-9: 30 pm – Sit down to a healthy vegan supper designed and cooked by Punjabi cuisine connoisseur Poonam from YSM8, which was was born out of pure love and respect for her culture, together with shining the light on nostalgic vegetarian foods. The cultivation of a communal spirit and sharing ideas will be, as always, at the heart of YSM8. The series of inclusive supper clubs events celebrate vegetarian Punjabi cuisine fused with global beats so expect some uplifting music and seriously good vibes. Dancing is always welcomed.
*10% of proceeds will be going to Ourmala, a wonderful charity that helps refugees and asylum-seekers rebuild their lives through yoga, which equally embodies both the YSM8 and LMJP YOGA spirit of inclusivity, diversity and community.
*The food is vegan and contains gluten, nuts, and wheat. Unfortunately, we cannot cater to a gluten, nut or wheat-free diet on this occasion. The menu may be subject to change.
