7 Insta-rated brands to peruse for ceramics porn
Is it a gen-irrelevant movement or is it just that millennials are hitting homeware age? Either way, the ceramics scene is BOOMING.
It’s the new standard for Insta-potters to amass tens of thousands of followers and dinner party conversation to be filled with the newest names in mug-making.
Joining the perennially popular perfectly imperfect aesthetic (see: irregular shapes and messy glaze jobs), there’s been a real movement towards linear face designs, as seen by US-based Kinska and UK ceramicist Beci Callow.
It’s not just ready-made crockery, but pottery as a mindful hobby, that’s experiencing a stratospheric rise in interest, with studios like Turning Earth running repeat sell-out courses.
