Don’t be put off by the pleathery case, this bronzer is AMAZING. It lasts for hours (and is genuinely pretty waterproof, making it a good option for gym seshs), but still feels fresh and uncakey on the skin!

Baked Mineral Bronzer, £33, INIKA

Minimal crap, maximum credentials; vegan, organic, cruelty-free, hypoallergenic (so good for sensitive skins) and brilliant.

One of the only cream bronzers in the edit, RMS Beauty’s super-rich formula is perfect for making duller, drier skin types (which cakes with powders) look luminous and healthy.

Two-tone bronzers can sometimes seem a bit gimmicky, but Lavera’s is full of face-kind ingredients and creates a natural, buildable bronze. One thing you should know: try hard not drop it as the case isn’t that sturdy.

Lustrous Bronzer, £41, Kjaer Weis

So much more that freaking beautiful packaging, this cream bronzer is easy and forgiving to apply and creates a natural, post-hol glow when added to forehead and cheeks. Or, sweep under the cheekbones for a little multi-tasking contour boost.

The Bronzing Powder, £14.95, 3INA

Vegan, cruelty and paraben-free, 3INA’s (said ‘MINA’) bronzer is just ticking all the boxes. Sweep the velvety powder anywhere you’d naturally catch the sun.

Bronzer, £32, Jane Iredale

Actually not as tricky-to-apply as it looks; just use a thick brush to combine the tones for a healthy glow or, for multi-tasking, pick the different shades for highlighting the cheek and brow bones.One thing you should know: it only comes in refills as Jane Iredale is serious about its recycling credentials, so you’ll have to buy the £12 compact too.
