Kate Phillips on Representation & Peaky Blinders
Happy International Women’s Day! And, to celebrate, we have recorded a special bonus episode! Our guest is one of the true rising stars of TV and film: the great Kate Phillips.
Kate is arguably best known for the role of Linda Shelby on BBC mega-smash Peaky Blinders. And she’s also enjoyed huge success with Aftermath, The Crown, the Downton Abbey film and much more.
Kate also talks about the great work done by Era 50:50, who campaigned for 50-50 representation on stage and screen. You can find out more about them here.
As ever, we are on [email protected] and [email protected]
Click here to download via Apple and here to download via Spotify. And it should be available from anywhere else you might happen to download podcasts. You’ll find every episode there too, with previous guests including Ricky Gervais, Regina King, Henry Cavill, Romesh Ranganathan, Patricia Arquette and many more.
To the uninitiated, in each episode, deputy editor James Gill (occasionally joined by founder/editor Sophie Scott) chats with luminaries from entertainment, wellness, sport, business and beyond about how to optimise health, happiness and performance. And should you want to rate it five stars, we’d be very grateful.
