8 most mindful things to do in London this summer
While others are harping on about food markets, rooftop bars and lidos to visit this summer, here at Balance HQ, we’re getting excited about the things to do in London that allow us a few minutes of headspace.
Free from tourists, tubes and computer screens, we’ve collated our favourite mindful things to do in London this summer so you too can find a few moments of peace in the city.
Fancy training with London’s biggest and best mindful running crew, Chasing Lights Collective, making new friends and being gifted with a bottle of Lucozade Fitwater and a bag of treats? You’ve come to the right place.
This isn’t any old run though because during this workshop, you’ll learn how to run lighter, easier, and with less chance of injury while focusing on quietening the mind at the same time. So, whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting out, this is the chance to think about your form, soak up your surroundings, and allow your thoughts to float away without being disruptive.

“We are really at a turning point in our modern approaches to wellbeing. Soon we won’t accept treatment that isn’t inherently integrated and speaking to more than just the mind or more than just our biochemistry.” Bo Forbes . Bo @boforbesyoga will be coming to triyoga from 3-5 August 2018 to teach a series of workshops on yoga, science, psychology + social justice: creating individual + collective wellbeing. To reserve your space, head to the workshops section on our website.
Over the course of three days this August, US yoga expert Bo Forbes is coming to London to immerse hardcore yogi’s in mindfulness, neuroscience and movement studies.
During the course, participants will learn the importance of integrating mindfulness with movement and learn transformative, hands-on tools that will help you learn to quiet your mind, rewire your brain, and revitalize your body for total mind-brain-body wellness. Sounds like bliss.

Londoners sure know a thing or two about multi-tasking but VIVOBAREFOOT has given it a philanthropic twist with their new Plogging Club which combines jogging with picking up litter and will see attendees boost their fitness and protect the environment at the same time.
It doesn’t end there though, Ploggers can swap the litter they collect for a brand-new pair of VIVOBAREFOOT shoes that are made from at least 17 discarded plastic bottles.
The Plogging will be led by Maja Tesch with the help of bestselling cookery writer and nutritional therapist Madeleine Shaw. To join them, reserve your place by emailing Vivobarefoot@redlionpr.com
