Boost your memory with No.1 Rosemary Water
Some products transcend what’s inside the package. Take No1 Rosemary Water. Co-founders Bonita and David Spencer-Percival haven’t just created a delicious botanical drink – they’re leading the charge when it comes to the power of herbs.
Rosemary has long been associated with improving memory and the circulatory system, but it goes further than that – all the way to the Acciaroli, Italy, where rosemary is a key ingredient in the local diet. And it’s no coincidence that one in 10 of the village’s residents live to 100 years old. “They lived well,” Bonita says. “That meant low rates of dementia, cataract problems, Alzheimer’s and cancer. That was the hook for us.”
“We went to the village trying to find the differentiator,” adds David.
The couple went on to extract all 32 compounds from the rosemary there to create No1. “And clinical trials showed it meant better blood flow to the brain,” says David.
David and Bonita then discovered that Hollywood superstar Henry Cavill was a No1 fan. Soon two became three: Henry is now a shareholder!
So, with an A-lister on board, what is the future? “Global domination!” quips Bonita. David adds: “Our mission is for as many people as possible to drink this because of the health benefits. It is something the world needs.”
