The Magic Position: Sleeping Styles Explained
Ever wondered one sleep position is better than another? We asked the expert, Hope Bastine, Consultant Sleep Psychologist for Simba Sleep.
The answer? “That depends on your needs and if you have any conditions”, says Bastine. “Pregnant women are better off on their side, which is also advisable if you snore. Ultimately, we should sleep in a position that reduces the frequency of movement, so I advise people to adopt the position that’s most comfortable and they think they can stay in for the longest amount of time”.
In that case, here is what your sleeping position says about you.

People who sleep like a baby tend to wet the bed and wake up crying. Of course we jest, although they can be surprisingly shy
A bit like an ace skydiver, you’re face down, arms hugging your pillow, head to the side. You’re likely outgoing, yet sensitive
