4 reasons to try intuitive coaching
Why do we seem to understand that our bodies need to be supported and nurtured over time in order to improve, but for some reason, we don’t allow the same kind of repetitive and habitual change for the brain and soul?
Supporting the building up of new ‘life’ muscles, intuitive coaching is the ongoing guided practice of tapping into the inner parts of yourself. Here, I discuss four reasons why you might benefit from seeing one.
1. SWITCHING UP AUTOMATED BEHAVIOURS
With so many of our behaviours automated or reactive, most of us are likely living so much of our lives on autopilot, rather than through conscious desire and action. We do things simply because they are what we have always done, not because they are what we want to be doing or what will bring us more peace or satisfaction.
Intuitive coaching can help you to reset your behaviours and habits, and start living a fulfilled life – not just an existence. Expect to be guided and supported as you question is this life inspiring me? Am I really achieving what I’m capable of? and Am I deeply happy with my relationships?
2. TAKING RISKS DESPITE FEAR OF REJECTION
Programmed to do whatever it takes to survive, it makes sense that humans can often feel uncomfortable at the thought of making big changes, following our dreams, or even simply asking that special person out. It risks our physiological need to stay safe, and we could easily face rejection or failure.
But is it truly better to be sad but safe, instead of potentially a lot more happy and satisfied? Intuitive coaching taps into the centre of who you are, what you feel, and why you feel it, in the hope of helping you find the courage to take risks, and live from a place of power and intention. This exploration allows you to create more of what you want in your life, and make changes in the areas where you feel your soul is not being nourished.
3. FURTHERING YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOURSELF
Working at a soul and emotional level, intuitive coaching helps you to explore and support deep growth, change and satisfaction. Allowing you to look at how you are living your whole life; from how you feel, to what you think, and what you want – and in turn how that is playing out in your life, family, work, and relationships
Where a business coach looks at your career, what you want and where you need to go to get there, an intuitive coach works more at a soul level to help us understand and connect with all areas of the self – energetically, emotionally consciously, unconsciously and spiritually.
Through intuitive coaching, we can understand what our emotions are trying to tell us. What is making us feel happy? What is frustrating? What is eliciting feelings of sadness, anger, apathy?
4. PROVIDING AN OBJECTIVE PERSPECTIVE
But why can’t I just speak to my friends for help? With regards to intuitive coaching, this is a question I am commonly asked.
Growing, evolving and learning about what emotionally holds you back, and what your soul truly wants to move forward requires consistent work – not just a one-off chat over coffee.
You have spent many, many years training your brain to think and work one way. Your brain has worked hard to do this for you and a lot of your behaviours, actions and reactions are programmed into your subconscious cleverly to allow for instant recall. Real coaching involves reworking these subconscious reactions and habits so that deep rooted new behaviours evolve – ones that will help you feel fulfilled in your day to day life, as well as satisfy you on a soul level. This can only be done through repetition, action and accountability, and is not really something we can ask or expect even the most dedicated mate to help with.
