We pay our rent with our feet
With the cost of living crisis seemingly never-ending here in the UK, plenty of us are looking for ways to supplement our incomes. But how far would you go to pay your bills?
For content creators Chrissy Sweets, 32, and Amelia Jadee, 28, the secret to making bank lies at their feet – quite literally. Through foot fetish platform Fun With Feet, the pair have made tens of thousands of pounds from simply slipping off their socks.
Here, Balance meets the women behind the successful online accounts and finds out what it’s really like to be paid for flashing your feet for strangers all over the world… baked beans and all.
BALANCE: How did you get involved in the foot fetish scene?
Chrissy: Before the pandemic hit I was juggling bar work with hairdressing, but during Covid there was a reduction in my shifts so I felt I had to look elsewhere to make up the difference. I knew that OnlyFans was becoming popular and other girls were making great money on there but I didn’t feel comfortable baring all (not even my face at the time) because I really didn’t know if I was going to be back at work the next week. That’s when I started to explore other options and came across Fun With Feet.
Amelia: I was working as a nurse when I started dabbling with this type of content creation. Without sounding too stereotypical, I really did feel overworked, underpaid and felt emotionally exhausted. As a nurse you’re expected to work long hours (some unpaid!) and on top of that, I would have to take on extra shifts to ensure my basics were covered. With long hours and a low monthly salary, I just felt like I had to do something else, to not only get more money but to have a work-life balance and prioritise my own well-being. I saw a few girls talking about Fun With Feet on TikTok, so I Googled around and thought why not!
BALANCE: How does doing this kind of work make you feel?
Chrissy: Great! I get to remain pretty much anonymous, travel, and work my own schedule!
Amelia: Honestly, it just makes me feel really empowered and sexy.
BALANCE: Do your families and friends know what you do for a living or is it a secret?
Chrissy: My friends and close family do. I’m pretty open with partners or boyfriends, too. I’m pretty proud of it to be honest.
Amelia: Close friends, yes. But I’m starting to be more open as I dedicate a lot more time to it.
BALANCE: What does a buyer typically look like?
Chrissy: There’s no real description of what a buyer or someone with a foot fetish looks like. I learnt this very quickly. I’ve had requests from everyone – from older men to finance bros. One actually appeared on the news talking about finance a few months later – I found it pretty funny I knew his secret.
Amelia: This is so hard to say as I’m finding out more and more that so many people are into feet. All genders and sexualities – had no idea when I first started how popular it was!
BALANCE: What’s the craziest thing anyone’s ever asked for?
Chrissy: Crushing is surprisingly popular now, alongside the usual foot touching and rubbing you’d expect. I’ve been asked to crush or step on grapes, cakes, and even baked beans. I didn’t think they were serious at first until they sent through the money. Whatever floats your boat.
Amelia: Oh I have plenty of these! One customer asked for my boyfriend to ejaculate on my feet and send a pic for £300 – I was hesitant at first but that’s a super easy way to make money. Men seem to like food squishing too, like bananas. Mostly though it’s custom content for simple things like oil and lotion while moaning or saying their name.
BALANCE: We all want to know – how much does it really make to sell pictures and videos of your feet?
Chrissy: Lots! It’s been nearly 3 years and I’ve made around £150k in total. I left my job last year so I can do this full-time. Domination-type fetish has become more and more popular so it pays very well. I was once paid almost £5k just to print out photos of a guy’s face and step all over it while calling him quite nasty names – it paid my rent and then some.
Amelia: Since joining (which was only earlier this year) I’ve made around £20k through people unlocking my collections and tips (which are usually free tips to say thanks or custom requests – this is where a good chunk of my earnings have been) and I have some really nice regulars.
BALANCE: Have you turned down any requests?
Chrissy: Absolutely – anything I don’t feel comfortable with I don’t do. Anything to do with getting fully nude I don’t do. In my time I’ve had requests of peeing on my feet (and the rest) – I think one offered around £3k for a set of videos but that’s not for me so I didn’t do it.
Amelia: Some people do ask for foot worship meets. Meeting up with customers is not really my thing but if you’re up for it you can make some serious money.
BALANCE: What advice would you give anyone interested in having fun with their feet?
Chrissy: The key is to build a real connection with your buyers via messaging. And doing that isn’t too hard – they’re already here looking for foot content. These buyers are where the larger portion of the money is through tips and custom content.
Amelia: Just go for it. All you need is your phone and you’re 90% there. People ask me if I need professional setups or cameras, but you don’t. Just make sure you look after your feet – they’re your biggest asset!
