We Love International Women’s Day Panel #FORAHER

For the first in a series of events and podcasts by We Love Print and Fora, Fora have gathered together four amazing female editors to run in line with International Women’s Day week. They will be discussing their experiences within the world of magazines, as well as going through and discussing their individual publications. There will be a live audience at the recording where current and back issues of the magazines will be available. Panellists include Wase Aguele, editor of Roundtable Journal and Lily Mercer, editor of Viper.
Wase Aguele is the Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Roundtable Journal, an annual print magazine for women dedicated to representation and starting nuanced conversation. Featuring candid conversations with trailblazing women, compelling articles on contemporary society, humorous anecdotes and bold photography, each issue of Roundtable Journal is a reflective, thought-provoking read.
Hailing from North London, Lily Mercer spends most of her time running Viper Magazine, which was born out of an ever-present love of hip hop, a passion for words and a devotion to print publications. With no absorbing magazines left to buy Lily decided it was time to start her own and Viper was born. Now six issues deep, previous cover stars have included Mr Eazi, Darq E Freaker, Kali Uchis, Schoolboy Q, DeJ Loaf, Earl Sweatshirt, Vince Staples, Novelist and most recently, 21 Savage and Trippie Redd.
Rhona Ezuma is the founder and Editor in Chief of THIIIRD magazine. She’s a stylist and creative director by trade whose journalistic skills (gained from an early interest in the world of magazine and newspaper, and an English literature degree) armed her with critical mind and love of imagery which later led to the birth of THIIIRD.
