Cinnamon Kitchen’s House of HOLI Returns

March 6, 2019 - March 21, 2019

   |   Cinnamon Kitchen

Back for its fifth year running, #HouseofHOLI makes its return to Cinnamon Kitchen in Devonshire Square. Leave the drab and dreary City at the door, don your protective white suit and step into the madness at the House of HOLI for thirty minutes of paint-pelting friends, family and colleagues to mark the Indian festival of colour.

Sitting amongst the skyscrapers of London’s financial district, Cinnamon Kitchen will bring a vivacious dose of colour to the urban environs of the Square Mile with the return of its purpose-built party pod popping up outside of Vivek Singh’s modern-Indian restaurant.

The perfect excuse to escape the office, workers can kick off their heels, loosen their ties and experience a half hour of launching colourful powdered paint at each other to celebrate the renowned festival.

No Indian celebration would be complete without a feast of delicious dishes and Cinnamon Kitchen will be serving up a spirited five-course #HouseofHOLI menu to enjoy after a round of paint-throwing.

Priced at £35 per person (Monday – Friday, including a Play Holi session), dishes may include:

A pop-up bar on the terrace will also be serving an array of vivid HOLI cocktails. Executive Chef Vivek Singh will also be throwing open the doors to his kitchen on 16th March with a one-off Holi Special Masterclass, priced at £225 per person. Led by Vivek, guests will explore the traditional and modern Indian cooking methods involved in creating the colourful snacks and street food often served during this celebratory festival, several of which are vegetarian.

Holi itself officially takes place on 21st March, announcing the arrival of spring and passing of winter. Infamously known for its free-for-all carnival of colours and iconic paint fights, HOLI brings together family and friends to laugh and play, forgive and forget and to celebrate love and friendship. The only rule about Holi is that there are none, so let your hair down, grab some paint and have fun.

Play Holi tickets are priced at £22 per person, which includes a Play Holi session, a Holi cocktail or mocktail on arrival and three HOLI bites. Kids tickets (under 12 years older) are priced at £10.
