5 October events that you don’t want to miss
Just like that, October is here – and we’re officially three quarters of the way through 2019. A time characterised by bronze leaves, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, and the long build up to Halloween, the tenth month of the year is unsurprisingly a favourite amongst many – so we’re never short of ways to stay entertained. From rounding off an awesome summer with lagers and tapas on Somerset House Terrace, to getting your flow on to an awesome R&B playlist, these five events are definitely worth marking in your calendar.
1) LAST CHANCE FOR LAGER: Somerset House Terrace w/ San Miguel
There’s a lot of partnerships that we’re really into – Ben and Jerry, Wallace and Gromit, and Thelma and Louise, to name a few – but the one that’s taken the trophy for us this year has definitely been the beautiful summer romance between scenic Somerset House Terrace, and the kings of lager, San Miguel. Going out from the terrace with a bang this weekend, head along for your last chance to enjoying the lively, Mediterranean atmosphere, and sip on San Miguel’s famous Bilbao beer, which has been expertly paired with a tapas menu by executive head chef, Angel Zapata Martin from Barrafina.
When? ***Closing this week*** Open Monday to Saturday, 12:00pm – Late
Where? Somerset House Terrace, Strand, London WC2R 1LA
2) GLOW AND GROW: Sweaty Betty Live 2019
This epic all-day event sees The Old Truman Brewery become a one-stop shop for all things wellness, with plenty of opportunities to sweat, shop, and be inspired. Get those endorphins flowing with famous fitness studios like FIGHT KLUB and Frame, before heading to insightful talks on topics like gut health and body positivity. All of that action definitely requires a refuel, so be sure to tuck into some healthy street food, before using your exclusive 25% Sweaty Betty discount to treat yourself to something from the new collection.
