Sight is the sense that people fear losing the most. Every day 250 people start to lose their sight in the UK.
Fight for Sight funds pioneering research into the treatment and prevention of sight loss to create a future everyone can see. We’ve helped make many life-changing advances already, but the reality is that a great deal more work is still needed.
Journey to the Centre of the Eye is a free 10k ‘virtual race’ where you’ll experience the world from a different perspective. You’ll be shrunk down and chase a photon of light through the eye and on to the brain – discovering how it is your eyes bring the wonders of the world around you to light.
Run, jog or walk this 10-kilometer event. Race anywhere, any time.
This virtual race will run from the 24 September, through National Eye Health Week, and on to 11 October, World Sight Day. You can download the app now and take part wherever you like during this race period!
