TOAST to host its first creative residency
May 4, 2019 @ 8:00 am - May 6, 2019 @ 5:00 pm
From Saturday 4th – Monday 6th May, lifestyle brand TOAST will be hosting its first ever ‘creative residency’ at Paper Mills Studio, North London. Inspired by its Spring Summer collection ‘The Unknown Path’, TOAST has gathered together a group of its most inspiring friends to host a series of walks, talks, and workshops designed to unlock creative potential.
The three-day Residency will offer a thoughtful programme of creative workshops and activities, encouraging women to try their hand at something new, and to see where it could lead to next.
Workshops and activities include Natural Dyeing & Potting with Christine Lewis; Block Printing with Georgia Dorey; a Weaving Workshop led by the renowned Sue Lawty, who previously held the role of Textile Resident at the V&A; a Canapé and Tablescape class with supper club host and author Alexandra Dudley and Mindful Creative Writing with Elaine Knight.
Throughout the weekend Molly Martin will be available for teachings in repairs and ways in which to give your garments a new lease of life, and books will be available from the TOAST Book Club for all to enjoy, as well as a café for refreshments open to all.
