Regent Street in association with BALANCE: Mindful Running and Brunch
January 20, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pm
Regent Street in association with Balance: Mindful Running & Brunch If you thought Regent Street was only famous for its flagship retail stores, think again.
From exercise classes and healthy eateries, to in-store treatments and stress- free shopping, Regent Street and the surrounding area has become a hotspot for your every wellness whim.
To celebrate all things wellbeing, Regent Street has teamed up with Balance and mindful running crew, ChasingLights Collective, to bring you a 5k mindful running workshop.
What is mindful movement?
Being connected to movement can help reduce anxiety, depression, stress and pain. If you’re able to be more mindful during your run, you can think about form, soak up the surroundings and allow your thoughts to float away without being disruptive. The focus is not on speed or distance, but rather on connecting the dots between mind and body, improving the overall experience of running.
About the workshop
You’ll be shown simple breathing techniques that will not only help you run more consistently, with more ease and flow, but also reconnect with how running feeds your soul. You’ll discover how mindful movement can help you tap into that space beyond your busy mind, where you’re already calm and clear.
Brunch
After the run, you’re invited to sit down with Balance founder and editor, Sophie Scott, for a delicious and nutritious brunch including:
• Porridge with berries and honey
• Granola & yoghurt
• Shakshuka (or some form of spiced scrambled eggs with pumpkin seeds)
• Fresh juices ready and tea & coffeeWhat’s more, all attendees will receive a goody bag and a £10 Regent Street gift card.Join us – all levels welcomeDATE 20 January 2019
