LONDON SANTA DASH FOR GOSH 

Swap your sofa for a Santa suit and join thousands of fun-runners to take on the London Santa Dash this December, in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. 

London Santa Dash is an optional 5k or 10k fun run in festive fancy dress on Clapham Common, London, on Sunday 9^th December. All money raised by participants will help seriously ill children from across the UK cared for at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), and their families too.  

The event is open to adults and children, and runners will receive a free Santa suit to wear as they make their merry way around the course.  Participants can capture the perfect festive Instagram photo or seasonal selfie in a sea of Santas, run to the rhythm of the Samba Band playing along the route, then relax with a mulled drink and mince pie at the end of the race in the event village. Dogs are welcome to take part, with admiration guaranteed for pooches in festive fancy dress. 

The flat course makes London Santa Dash the perfect event for all levels of fitness, so whether you’re looking for a gentle jog, aiming for personal best to blow away the December excesses, or prefer a walk and a natter with friends, there’s something for everyone. The course is fully accessible for participants in wheelchairs, and the London Brass Band will serenade attendees with festive classics during the day.  

GOSH cares for seriously ill children from across the UK, and GOSH Charity raises vital funds to support these children and their families. By taking on the London Santa Dash, you could help GOSH Charity to support pioneering medical research, provide state of the art medical equipment, fund support services for children and their families and support the essential rebuilding and refurbishment of the hospital.
