adidas City Run

The creative capital of Oregon is teaming up with adidas City Runs to give UK athletes and fitness
fanatics alike a taste of Portland’s great outdoors during the ‘1 city, 1 hour’ race. Portland, also
known as the city amongst the trees, is bringing an immersive pop-up to the City Runs event village
on Sunday 7 April to celebrate the return of Delta Air Lines’ daily nonstop flight from London
Heathrow to Portland International.

What is the 1 hour challenge? To run as far as you can in 60 minutes on a route that passes some of
London’s iconic landmarks, such as St Pauls Cathedral, and test your fitness level as a measure of
distance over time. Stop by the event village to find out more about Portland’s running scene and
what the great city has to offer beyond adventure, exploration and a multitude of outdoor activities,
all surrounded by spectacular natural beauty. Visitors will also be able to relax and rejuvenate in the
Portland-inspired hub with opportunities to talk, taste and learn more about the city; with a
sampling of Portland-brewed Kombucha and the opportunity to see the city through the lense of a
Portland local with VR headsets.

What’s more, runners will have the opportunity to win a trip for two on Delta’s nonstop flight to
Portland and enter a city run of their choice.
