Skin Food talk by The Rooted Project

A unique opportunity to hear industry experts discuss the relationship between diet, lifestyle and our body's largest organ, the skin

October 8, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

   |   The Rooted Project

Many of us want clear, glowing skin, but there seems to be so much confusion surrounding what’s helpful and harmful in our quest to achieve it.

This is a unique opportunity to hear an expert panel debunk the scientific links between food and skin – with a focus on acne and skin ageing – as well as the medical and cosmetic aspects of skin care.

The talk will also take a dive into beauty culture and the skin positivity movement, looking at some practical ways to accept and feel confident with the skin we’re in.  This is an empowering event with evidence-informed practitioners providing key practical take-homes.

Panellists:

Nicola Ludlam-Raine – Registered dietitian and blogger at Nic’s Nutrition, with 10 years’ NHS, private and media experience

Dr Anjeli Mahto – Consultant dermatologist, British Skin Foundation spokesperson and author of The Skincare Bible

Kadeeja Khan – Social media influencer and voice for skin positivity, revealing what’s really behind photoshop

Each ticket includes a free drink and a goody bag. The limited early bird tickets are priced at £26 whilst general admission tickets are £35.
