The meaning behind numbers, according to Kyle Gray
1. NUMBER VALUES
In China, the number eight has long been associated with prosperity and wealth. The number 13 is often considered unlucky and seven thought to be lucky in gambling culture. While 666 is known as the mark of the beast, it most likely represents the Roman Emperor Nero Caesar because the numeral value of his name in the Greek alphabet adds up to 666.
2. DESTINY IN DIGITS
Modern-day numerology focuses on the numerological value of your name (to reveal your destiny number) and date of birth (to reveal your life path number). Through this information, a person may better understand their calling towards a particular path, why certain personality traits are stronger than others, and what challenges they are here to overcome.
3. POWER OF ONE
Currently #1111 has 1.7m hashtags on Instagram. It’s recognised as a moment to “set an intention” and focus your thoughts. When you see 1111, you’re reminded that you are one with all that is. All of our actions, non-actions and decisions are affecting the whole – so 11:11 is a call to action to align ourselves with the best we can be in order to make a difference.
4. ANGEL NUMBERS
So many of us allow our worth to be tethered to numbers, including our financial value, achievements and even our follower count. Numbers are significant, but we need to realise that they’re here to guide us, not send us into a downward spiral. Angel numbers remind us of the power we have in the present moment and to live in a more authentic way.
5. SEQUENCE OF EVENTS
What I love most about number patterns is that you don’t need to be a believer in the spiritual field. When these numbers arrive they’re undeniably prominent. You’ll see them on number plates, digital clocks, receipts and more. Recognising numbers isn’t about hanging up your day-to-day life – it’s just about knowing that you have the capacity to live and express yourself in a more purposeful way. Who doesn’t want that?
TRIO OF TIPS
555 – This number represents a chance to experience abundance because all your efforts are paying off
12:34 – I call this the ladder because it represents moving up a step at a time towards your spiritual growth and a feeling of living purposefully
22:22 – This is the number that shows up to remind us we have the power to light up the room and positively influence all of those around us
