How can I get rid of my split ends?
STAY TRIM(MED) – Split ends cannot be repaired by any product or treatment, only prevented
“Trimming will keep your locks split end-free. Avoid drying with a towel as it promotes breakage. Instead, apply pressure by gently squeezing out excess water”
What is the most effective way to reduce frizz?
GO NATURAL – Applying heat to hair can help straighten it, but also dries it out
“Invest in a good nourishing treatment. Let hair dry naturally, but if you use a hairdryer, avoid touching it with the nozzle as direct heat promotes frizziness. Position it just above the hair and brush”
How often should I get my hair cut?
MONTHLY CYCLE – Aim to get a trim or cut every month-and-a-half
“I always suggest to trim your hair every four weeks if you have a bob or cropped style, as it goes out of shape quickly. If hair is long, aim for a trim every six weeks and no longer so the ends stay in a healthy condition”
How often should I wash my hair?
TYPE CAST – Every two-three days. Washing every day can strip hair of its natural oils
“It depends on your hair type. Dry hair should shampoo a maximum of two times a week, oily hair may require washing every day. Normal hair should be washed once or twice a week”
How can I make my hair grow faster?
FEED ME – Working from the inside out is an effective way to impact hair growth
“Growth speed is genetically determined, but nutrition from the inside is important. I believe healthy and beautiful hair grows from a healthy scalp, and an essential oils scalp treatment can really help”
What is the best way to prevent heat damage?
SPRAY AWAY – Heat-protecting sprays are the best way to protect hair from damage
“Reducing the heat on certain tools (hairdryer, flat iron, curling iron) definitely makes a difference. Try to only use stylers once a week if possible to reduce further damage”
