HOW LIGHT AND COLOUR CAN BEAT THE BLUES! with Liz West

Brighten up your January with an evening of cocktails, canapés and a talk from one of the UK’s leading visual artists.

On Wednesday 16 January from 6.30pm, head to No29 Power Station West who are hosting Liz West, known for creating vivid environments that mix luminous colour and radiant light. Come and learn about how the experience of seeing colour and light can enhance your wellbeing. West’s multi-sensory art explores how light and colour can stimulate our senses to invoke physical and psychological responses.

Liz West graduated from BA (Hons) Fine Art Sculpture & Environmental Art at Glasgow School of Art in 2007. She regularly exhibits nationally and internationally including at: Dubai Design Week, UAE; Musee Nissim De Camondo, Paris; Milan Fashion week; Kraftwerk, Berlin; Bristol Biennial; Natural History Museum, London: www.liz-west.com

The ticket price includes a complimentary cocktail or non-alcoholic Seedlip serve (if you’re feeling virtuous) as well as canapés from No29 Power Station West.

Chris Rand has played sax for some of the UK’s biggest artists including Squeeze, Yolanda Brown, Bad Manners, James Hunter’s Six, Jools Holland, Charlie Watts and Mick Taylor. Chris will be bringing a host of London’s top musicians along every Friday night.
