This free market on Greenwich Peninsula makes finding Christmas gifts a breeze with its handpicked selection of designers, independent producers and craftspeople.

Greeting the savvy shoppers will be an alternative Christmas tree installation by jewellery designer Tatty Devine. Plus, Paula the polar bear, Greenpeace’s life-sized puppet, will be roaming around the Greenwich Peninsula to provoke conversation about climate change and how humans can co-exist with animals.

This year SAMPLE will see the return of a late-night food and drink market with delicious street food trucks and local traders offering award winning cakes, vegan treats and food from around the globe. All the shopping will be accompanied by live music, performances and top tunes from Brighton record label Mr Bingo and Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM including DJ Ruby Savage and other surprise guests.
