Menstrual Hygiene Day event on London’s South Bank

This half-term, Plan International UK will be holding a cycling challenge on London’s South Bank to help bust the stigma and taboo around periods as part of Menstrual Hygiene Day 2019.

Throughout the day, the global children’s charity will be challenging members of the public to compete head-to-head on the ‘Menstrual Cycle’, with youth ambassadors and special guests on hand to discuss the issues and raise awareness of the stigma girls face around their period.
