20th Sept London Bridge Open Kitchen – Foodie Event

We are pleased to announce that annual foodie pop-up event, London Bridge Open Kitchen, returns Friday 20th September to celebrate the dynamic dining scene of London Bridge and its surrounds – cementing the area as one of the capital’s major food and drink hubs. Organised and hosted by Team London Bridge, entrance to the event is as always totally free.

Located in the impressive al fresco Guy’s Courtyard at the foot of the Shard, London Bridge Open Kitchen will see the space transform into a buzzing all-day event that shows off a mix of local independent restaurants and bars, as well as some well-loved favourites. Snack on signature Mexican pork tacos from Santo Remedio, epic smokey beef buns from The Coal Shed and fresh sushi from recently launched Japanese Temakhino.

For the first time, London Bridge Open Kitchen will also be teaming up with Bermondsey craft beer and skate brand, Hop King, who will bring their outstanding Pale Ale from Druid Street archway, along with their very own skateboards available to buy. For those looking for a non-alcoholic option, Everleaf will be on hand with their botanical aperitifs, perfect for a complex spritz made with the finest natural ingredients.

Science Gallery London will be staying open late for guests at London Bridge Open Kitchen, showcasing their new exhibition and events season, ON EDGE: Living in an Age of Anxiety, will explore creative and positive responses to our anxious times. As always, admission is free.

In addition to the festival, Team London Bridge have created a ‘London Bridge Open Kitchen’ cookbook; showcasing different recipes from the participating restaurants, cementing London Bridge as one of London’s top food and drink destinations all year round. The cookbook will be available in exchange for a small donation to a local charity Southwark Giving.
