EAT YOUR HEART OUT THIS SEPTEMBER WITH CARNABY EATS

Head to Carnaby this September for Carnaby Eats, a month-long foodie fest filled with delicious delights! From masterclasses and cookbook launches to exclusive menus and a brand new ocean-friendly initiative, the Blue Turtle campaign, not to mention over 20 global cuisines throughout the destination, Carnaby Eats has something for everyone.
For all budding food gurus, there will be free expert masterclasses from the likes of Dehesa and Farm Girl, a Pisco Sour masterclass from Señor Ceviche and mixologist taster class at Jakata, as well as new cookbook launches from Dishoom, Leon and Chai by Mira in Kingly Court, who will be releasing a wellness book with a dedicated recipe section. Food-lovers can look forward to brand new Autumn menus from Pure, Shoryu Carnaby and pasta favourite, Pastaio, who are offering a September special with a new tapas-style menu item hailed as “ALL IN PASTA”, giving diners taster plates of all pasta options. Check out Ugly Dumpling, where executive chef Emilian Craciun will be offering a tasting menu on the first and last Sunday of September, whipping together gourmet dumpling inventions.
Over in Carnaby’s food Mecca, Kingly Court, diners at Dirty Bones will be invited to ‘Pimp Your Dog’, building their own take on the signature Yankee Dog, plus celebrate Pizza Pilgrims’ 7th birthday by ordering their special Birthday Pizza. The pizza parlour will also be launching their new pasta straws, which are 100% biodegradable and use no plastic. Choose a lighter option with The Detox Kitchen, who will be dishing out beautiful recipe cards for meals that use seasonal and sustainable ingredients, such as Jewelled Stuffed Aubergines and Courgetti with Pea Pesto.
Perfect for conscious diners, Carnaby Eats will also showcase the best in green eating. Hero sustainable dishes include Stax Diner’s baby gem hearts, cooked using the centres of gem lettuce which would have otherwise been discarded, plus the Butternut Red Curry from Rosa’s Thai Cafe, which is completely vegan. In addition, the restaurant works directly with Thai farmers to source its Asian ingredients and buys as much local produce as possible to support UK producers. As well as launching their own gin during Carnaby Eats, Wright Brothers Soho will also unveil their new selection of small plates and sustainable dishes, and The Good Egg will launch their brand new veggie and vegan friendly ‘Green Menu’.
Enjoy a side dish of live music with 1940s cocktail bar Cahoots. They will be hosting picnics with a twist, serving up a ‘Squiffy picnic’ every Saturday in September, featuring a hamper with top British delicacies, all accompanied by live swinging entertainment, as well as an exclusive offer when reserving a space at one of London’s hottest bars.
