You may be more eco-friendly than you think. But then again…
Congratulations! You’re already doing lots to help the planet.
As social creatures we’re most likely to be inspired by friends and colleagues we trust. So you’re in a great place to start influencing others. That might sound daunting and you probably don’t want to be seen as a preachy, but there are lots of tools out there to help you to create hope and make a difference.
You’ve made a good start on doing your bit for the planet. Now it’s time to challenge yourself and crank it up a notch. That doesn’t mean making huge sacrifices though; you’ll probably find it quite satisfying and simple. Have a go at cutting down on meat and dairy a bit more. You’ll save money, which you can then spend on buying more delicious free range, organic produce! You can even get delicious plant-based meals delivered to your home now.
Like most people you’re concerned about climate change and sustainability and want to do more, but life is already busy and complicated enough, right?
Well we think it’s about doing different, not doing more. And once you’ve got into the rhythm of new eco habits, that niggling feeling of guilt will be gone, giving you more headspace and positivity, and just think what you could with that.
Living life to the max is your priority, and that doesn’t leave much space for eco antics. Thankfully a lot of things that are good for the planet are also good for us – our wallet, waistline and wellbeing.
Apparently cycling has overtaken golf as the top sport for networking and schmoozing the boss, the fact it reduces your CO2 and gets you buff is a bonus. Balance Mag is on hand with more easy, fun ways to start playing your part…
